The pictures posted today are of the 99.5% finished car. I have worked on this part time for almost five years. I found having a Bridgeport mill and lathe were invaluable for making parts. I made a LOT of custom parts that I would otherwise have yo pay for. I did source a lot of parts on Ebay. I was a machinist in the past. I made the 36 tooth wheel for the Megajolt ignition, It is adjustable.
I bent a lot of aluminum for the body parts. The nose, front and rear fenders were purchased. The engine is a Toyota 4A-GE 16 valve. The flywheel is lightened, carb's are Dellotro, I would recommend using Webers, as advise and parts are more available. I had to get parts from the UK.
Gauges are Auto meter and the spedo is a "Vapor' motorcycle unit. I would be happy to give any information to other builders. emai me at johnehorton@yahoo.com
